The soil plot allows you to plant seeds, and requires you to have the planting skill unlocked.
It is found in the outside area of the backroom, next to the stream, with six plots being provided to you. Each soil plot can accept nine seeds, and will grow any combination. To use, walk up to the soil plot with seeds in your hand and press the right mouse button.
Successfully growing plants allows you to sell them for extra profit. The different seeds that you can plant are:
Each seed will take 40 seconds to fully grow and must be harvested quickly. Otherwise, the plant will wilt and die in the plot.
Completing the Hard Bark quest will unlock the Wood Statue which will prevent plants from dying, allowing you to harvest them at whatever time you want.
